>Model EL-320 from Siemens – Fire Safety is an end-of-line resistor used to monitor the control circuits in each Model TXR-320 fire alarm control panel (FACP). The diode that is included with each Model EL-320 resistor controls the panel’s (electrical) current draw. Should wire connection ever become loosened (or completely severed), the Model TXR-320 FACP will immediately generate either a Trouble or Ground-Fault condition, since Model EL-320 cannot supervise a tripped wire. Model EL-320 is UL 864 9th Edition Listed.
