Expertly designed for optimal performance, the ROBERTSHAW 1950-001 36 Thermopile Generator provides 36 volts of reliable power for a wide range of applications. With a durable build and efficient design, this thermopile generator is sure to meet all your power needs.
Robertshaw® thermopiles are the industry leader in gas appliance applications. Their primary function is to ensure that a permanent pilot light is in operation so that when heat is required, the main gas burner is properly ignited. Thermopiles are placed in gas applications to detect the presence of a flame for safety purposes by shutting off potential gas flow to a burner. A thermopile is an assembly of multiple thermocouples to increase millivolt output. Robertshaw thermopiles have two types of connections: coaxial and dual-wire spade connectors.
The 1950 series thermopiles, also known as TP-75, are dual-wire spade connectors. The 1951 series thermopiles, also known as CP-2 (500-600 millivolts), are coaxial connectors. Including a PG9 Pilot Adapter
The 1950 and 1951 Series thermopiles (pilot generators) are designed for use in self-actuated gas control systems. They can be used to replace similar competitive devices. With their high reliability and precise flame detection, Robertshaw thermopiles provide a safe and efficient solution for gas appliance manufacturers.
